We’re excited to announce an expansion of our Tabor clinic at Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC). As of August 11, 2025, Drs. Johnson, Kean and Parker see patients in Suite 210 and are joined by members of our nurse-midwifery team from our nearby Gateway location. Our maternal-fetal medicine physicians of Northwest Perinatal Center remain in Suite 230. This gives each care team the space they need to better serve patients—and it gives the northeast Portland neighborhoods of Alameda, Alberta Arts, Beaumont Wilshire, Cully, Grant Park, Hollywood, Irvington, Laurelhurst, Rose City and more easier access to the holistic care offered by our midwives.
This update improves clinic flow and expands access to important services like ultrasound and behavioral health (in addition to midwifery)—right here at our Tabor location on the PPMC campus.

We are located in the Providence Professional Plaza medical office building to the east of Providence Portland Hospital.
By Car: From I-84 East—take the 58th Ave exit, turn right on to Glisan street following the signs toward the Emergency room. Turn right at the light on 49th Ave. You will see the hospital to the left and a big brick building on the right; we are in the brick building (Providence Professional Plaza). We are on the second floor, suite 210 (starting 8/11/25).
From I-84 West—take the 43rd Ave Exit, turn right onto NE Halsey St. Turn right again at NE 47th Ave. Continue on 47th until you get to Glisan street. Turn Left onto Glisan and then Left at the first light (onto 49th Ave) You will see the hospital to the left and a big brick building on the right, we are in the brick building (Providence Professional Plaza). We are on the second floor, suite 230.
Using transit: Trimet Bus Route 19 to Stop ID 2119 (eastbound) or 2121 (westbound). About 17 min, 0.8 mile walk to our office.
When you pull into the main driveway to the hospital from Glisan Street, there will be a “fork” in the road—stay to the right. You will see the Plaza building on your right and a large, free parking structure. If you park on Level D, there is a sky bridge that will take you into our building. There is also complimentary valet parking available if you are running behind schedule.
From the parking garage, you can either enter at street level and cross the street into the plaza or take the sky bridge. You will take either the elevators (to your left) or the stairs to the second floor, and we are down the hallway to your right in Suite 210. If you take the sky bridge, you will come into the plaza on the second floor; take the hallway on the right and look for us in Suite 210 on your left about halfway down.
