From the Provider
“In my appointments I focus on reassurance and clarity—helping people slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and leave with a small, doable plan to carry into their lives. I believe meeting people where they are gives them the chance to make lasting change, and my goal is to support them through the journey.”
About the Provider
Catherine didn’t set out to be a therapist. She began in radiologic sciences, drawn to the technical side of medical care, and over time found herself more interested in what people need when life gets hard. That pull toward support and connection led her into behavioral health and eventually integrated care—working alongside medical teams so patients can feel safer, more understood, and more supported.
As a licensed professional counselor and certified alcohol and drug counselor, Catherine provides brief, skills-focused support for people during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as those navigating infertility or pregnancy loss. She also supports patients in treatment for substance use, including medication-assisted treatment. Across her work, Catherine holds a steady belief that hardship looks different for everyone—and that care should be individualized to fit the person, their goals, and what’s realistic right now.
Catherine has experience working with individuals and families across cultures, ages, and identities—including LGBTQ+ individuals; people parenting while navigating systems such as probation and parole, Child Protective Services, or the Department of Human Services; people who have experienced trauma; and those facing homelessness or complex mental health concerns. Her background includes case management, individual and group therapy, and helping people connect with resources. In visits, she keeps language simple—what’s happening, why it makes sense, and what might help next—and offers practical tools to try between appointments.
Outside of work, Catherine loves reading, video games, and fiber arts; home projects; exploring new areas; and spending time with her Basset hound, Oswald.
