Kendra Flores, WHCNP-BC, is a urogynecology nurse practitioner in Portland, Oregon. She joins the Northwest Gynecology Center, Peterkort office of Women’s Healthcare Associates, LLC in December 2025.

“Pelvic symptoms like bulging or leakage can be distressful and isolating—and patients can sometimes feel dismissed when sharing their experience. That is my number one goal when meeting someone new: make sure they feel heard, validated and leave our visit with an understanding of what’s happening and what’s next in terms of care.”
About the Provider
Kendra Flores is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner who focuses on nonsurgical care for pelvic floor concerns. She helps people manage symptoms such as pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, and urgency/overactive bladder through options like pessary fitting and management, referrals to pelvic floor physical therapy, medication for urge incontinence and practical lifestyle strategies. Her goal is for each person to feel heard and to leave with a plan they feel confident in.
Kendra began her nursing career in surgical oncology, caring for people with gynecologic cancers. Those experiences sparked her passion for women’s preventative health and ultimately guided her transition into gynecology at the Mayo Clinic, where she provided dedicated support to a urogynecologist. She earned earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), specializing as a women’s health nurse practitioner, and now practices in Portland with a focus in gynecology and urogynecology. .
Beyond clinic, Kendra is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and guest lectures for advanced practice nursing students at the University of Portland. Outside of work, you’ll find her walking the dog, hiking, reading, and exploring Portland’s coffee and pastry scene (La Perlita is a favorite). New to parenting, she and her partner are embracing the joyful chaos of life with their little one.
