From the Provider
“I believe every person has the capacity for growth, resilience and self-discovery. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for people to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences—and work collaboratively to identify strengths, build resources and navigate the obstacles that may be hindering their wellbeing.”
About the Provider
Lynsey’s path to perinatal mental health began in public health and medical social work, where she developed a passion for supporting people through life’s most significant transitions—pregnancy, childbirth, adoption and even loss. As a therapist, her focus has been women’s mental health across the lifespan, including perinatal mental health.
Lynsey specializes in treating the whole journey of pregnancy through postpartum, which can encompass a wide range of emotional, physical and relationship transitions and challenges—including grief, anxiety, depression and sexual health. She is passionate about helping people navigate the challenges of parenting, particularly when reality doesn’t align with expectations. For Lynsey, supporting patients as they grapple with grief, shame and vulnerability is an essential part of the work she does. Her approach is trauma-informed and takes into account the complex dynamics of family systems and relationships during these critical periods. She also has expertise in working with issues like infertility, pregnancy loss and terminations.
When she’s not working, Lynsey enjoys spending time with her family, including her spouse and two children. A coffee lover and beach enthusiast, she often seeks out new coffee shops or escapes to the coast to recharge with a good book. She also loves traveling whenever possible.
