From the Provider
“My goal is for every patient—regardless of background, identity, or past experiences—to feel empowered, seen, and supported in their healthcare. Whether it’s a birth, a routine visit, or a difficult decision, I strive to create spaces where people can be their most authentic selves and where their choices are honored.”
About the Provider
Naomi’s path to midwifery was shaped by a deep commitment to reproductive justice and the belief that everyone deserves access to respectful, inclusive, and empowering healthcare. Her early work as a doula and perinatal health educator at clinics throughout California’s Central Valley introduced her to the profound difference midwives can make in people’s lives. Witnessing midwives in action inspired her to pursue a career where she could live out her values both personally and professionally.
Naomi provides trauma-informed, holistic care across the lifespan, cultivating trusting relationships and helping individuals optimize their health from adolescence through menopause. Naomi has a passion for functional medicine and its whole-person approach—addressing each person’s interconnected physical, mental, and emotional needs—while focusing on the root causes of reproductive and gynecological health issues to promote long-term wellness. Naomi emphasizes shared decision-making and patient education, helping individuals and families make informed choices based on their unique needs. She’s known for enthusiastically drawing diagrams when meeting with patients to help translate complex medical information into more accessible terms. Naomi is dedicated to creating an inclusive, affirming space where all people, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, feel welcome.
In addition to her clinical work, Naomi brings a strong emphasis on quality improvement and evidence-based practice. Her doctoral thesis focused on improving prenatal breastfeeding education, reflecting her commitment to supporting families beyond birth and into the early parenting journey. Naomi believes her patients are her greatest teachers and feels continually humbled and inspired by their strength, wisdom, and stories.
Outside of work, Naomi enjoys mountain biking, skiing, trail running, rafting, backpacking, yoga, reading, and cooking.
