Yvette Rodriguez, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Women’s Healthcare Associates in Portland, Oregon.

From the Provider

“Caring for women during pregnancy and childbirth has always felt like a calling, never a job. Since the fourth grade I have wanted to deliver babies. While I originally entered college with the intention of going to medical school, the care I received from my midwives during my first pregnancy put me on a different path. I changed my major to nursing and eventually got my master’s degree in midwifery. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

About the Provider

Yvette considers it an honor to care for women and families, finding great fulfillment in empowering and supporting them through key moments of transition in their lives. She has particular interest in adolescent health and education, physiologic birth and out-of-hospital birth.

When she is not working she enjoys gardening, canning, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with family. She is married to her high school sweetheart. They have three children.
